Marlene is no stranger to the UK, returning every March for an extended tour of the country, including the famed, Ronnie Scott's, which was a sold out performance last March. A former studio singer in New York, she has sung hundreds of commercials, "mmm, mmm good, that's what Campbell's Soups are", Michelob Beer, Winston Cigarettes, See The USA in your Chevrolet, to name a few. She has sung back-up for everyone from Sinatra to Kiss. (Be sure to ask for a few Sinatra stories.) Marlene has performed at Carnegie Hall as part of the Kool Jazz Fest, and all the clubs in New York City, The Blue Note, Birdland, Iridium, The Rainbow Room, Michael's Pub, Jazz @ The Kitano, etc. She has recorded 21 cd's with many noteworthy musicians, Hank Jones, Bucky Pizzarelli, Tommy Flanagan, Marian McPartland, Dr. Billy Taylor, and many more.
