Kassa Overall
GRAMMY-nominated drummer and producer Kassa Overall performs selections from his new album CREAM. His fourth solo studio album, CREAM pays tribute to the two forces that shaped his musical upbringing: hip hop and the jazz‑drumming lineage of Elvin Jones. Across eight instrumentals, Overall reimagines classics by The Notorious B.I.G., Wu‑Tang Clan, Dr. Dre, A Tribe Called Quest, OutKast, Digable Planets, and Juvenile, transforming them into rhythmically daring, witty, and expressive jazz standards.
